Welcome reception Monday, June 10 at 18.45-20.50

All participants are invited to the Welcome Ceremony which will be held in the Finlandia Hall Auditorium followed by a Welcome Reception in the exhibition area. Get inspired at the Welcome reception as the leaders of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) and Nordic-Baltic cardiac societies present the current and future issues in the cardiology today followed by virtuoso musical entertainment. Welcome Reception in the exhibition area offers a great opportunity to the participants to network. The Young Cardiologists (YC) will have YC Network Get-Together at 3rd floor during the Welcome Reception.

Banquet Dinner, June 11

Banquet dinner fee is included in the standard + dinner participation fee. For standard fee participants and to accompanying persons the banquet fee is 80 €. Unfortunately, tickets cannot be purchased on the location. Tickets are subject to availability and we recommend reserving them online when registering to the Congress.

The Banquet Dinner will be served at restaurant Vanha ylioppilastalo, the Old Student House, address: Mannerheimintie 3, on Tuesday, June 11 starting at 19.45. Evening includes an award ceremony, three course dinner and live music. Remember to show a valid event ticket when arriving to the event.

If you wish to walk, it is fairly simple, straight ahead along Mannerheimintie. The distance is about 1 km (approximately 15 minutes) from Finlandia Hall to the Old Student House. If you wish to use public transportation, you can take tram number 4 (towards Katajanokka) or 10 (towards Kirurgi). The closest stop to Finlandia Hall is Kansallismuseo/National Museum and to the Old Student House it is Ylioppilastalo/Old Student House.

Dress code for the event is dark suit/business.



Ida Elina

Kantele player Ida Elina will perform at the banquet dinner at approximately 20:40.

Ida Elina is a modern pop-kantele player, singer-songwriter who amazes with her golden voice. Her unique style developed after seeing some virtuoso slap guitar playing on Youtube and she combines pop music of today with classical and ancient folk tunes in her style of playing.

Ida Elina is a very charismatic and uplifting performer who breaks prejudices about kantele music. She has done concerts e.g. in the USA, China, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium; Canada and in the Nordic countries.


Likka is definitely the most beautiful partyband in town! Consisting of five professional female musicians, the band has existed for over ten years. Likka has performed in restaurants, night clubs, corporate events, weddings, private parties, outdoor festivals and even on a live tv show. These ladies know how to light up the party and fill the dance floor! Likka is known for their fresh and wide repertoire, years of experience, quality musicianship and energetic and bubbly live performance.

This band is a unique combination of professional musicians who also work as actors, music teachers, sound engineers and voice over artists in many different theaters, studios, music schools and ensembles.

Smiles are guaranteed both on stage and in the audience. As simple as it is, playing and partying together is just so much fun! Likka will get your party started and make the night memorable.
