There is an on-going renovation at the airport so we would advise you to reserve enough time both on arrival and departure. It is possible to take the local train, Finnair bus, Helsinki Region Transport bus or a taxi to arrive to the city centre. The construction causes changes in locations of the taxis and buses and they may vary weekly; so instead of being able to give exact location, please follow the signs at the airport and/or read more from https://www.finavia.fi/en/about-finavia/development-airports/helsinki-airport-development-programme/terminal2
When using HSL public transportation, please note that the ticket should cover zones A, B and C. For further information, please, see here and here about the new bus station at Helsinki Airport.
A taxi between the airport and the city centre takes approximately 20-25 minutes and costs around €40-45. More here.
For further information please, see here.
